All these notions that the comic has makes it classifiable among all other Holocaust books. Maus has aspects to it that other books about the Holocaust do not include. The strategies Spiegelman used, for example, depictions of nationalities through animals. The stylistic features included in this comic, along with literary themes, created a unmatched book - dissimilar to other Holocaust works.
